Star Wars Land - Disney Release Some Concept Arts

It's not much of a secret anymore, Disney is working hard on the creation of what will be the first Star Wars Theme Park. The construction is beginning soon this year.

Located in Disneyland, as well as Disney World, each part will be representative of one world with its own market, cafe, bar, restaurant, etc. An example could be made with the well known Tatooine's Cantina (seen in SW 4 - A New Hope) for instance. This does not mean it will be a reproduction of the cantina itself, but as inspired by. The whole idea is to invite people (fan and family alike) to an experience in another world fully inspired by the Star Wars Universe.

Although not much details have fully filtered yet, some Concept Arts have been released by Disney which gives a better idea of what the Company is working on. Here below some of those released Concept Arts.

LEGO - New Set for Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back

Surfing the wave of Star Wars Episode 7 - The Force Awakens, the LEGO Company is announcing a totally new playset which will bring us back to the first trilogy of the Star Wars universe, to Episode 5 more precisely specifically. The boxes will target a precise moment of the Empire Strike Back movie with its upcoming “Attack on Hoth” playset.

The new set arrival on the market is announced for April 2016 by the Company. The set will be comprised of 2,144-pieces with a price tag of $250. It will allow to recreate scenes from The Empire Strikes Back's attack on Hoth.

Some of the features includes "a base with modular wall and trench sections, an ion cannon with spring-loaded shooters that fire LEGO studs, a snowspeeder, a speederbike, a wampa cave, an exploding generator and 14 minifigures."

Luke and Han (with tauntaun), Toryn Farr, a Rebel Officer, pilots Wes Janson and Wedge Antilles, the droids K-3PO and R3-A2, five Rebel troopers and two Imperial Snowtroopers are part of the minifigures.

The geek universe is getting richer once again with a new playset thanks to LEGO.
